Ripple's founder Lisa combines creative and journalistic chops with strategic insight to produce high performing digital marketing content.
On completing a stint in investment banking following a business degree, Lisa changed tack to pursue a fascination with Russia, taking a post-grad in the language while living in Moscow in 1991. There she began her TV career as a field producer covering the fall of the Soviet Union and the Yugoslav wars from the Moscow bureaux of CNN and NBC News. She moved to London to join BBC News in 1994, climbing swiftly through the newsroom ranks to launch and series produce the first 300 episodes of the long-running daily HARDtalk interview show with presenter Tim Sebastien. Travelling the world with Tim, the prestige guests she produced include Nelson Mandela, Binyamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem, John Hume and David Trimble in Oslo to accept their Nobel.
In the early 2000s, Lisa swapped news for blue-chip specialist factual production for BBC Studios and the independent sect, honing her visual storytelling skills by creating and series and executive producing primetime series and formats for the BBC and international broadcasters including PBS, Discovery, and TF1. Naturally curious and adept at adapting tone and approach, she is equally comfortable working on complex science, history or arts content and has collaborated with talent as diverse as Dr Robert Winston, Lucy Worsley and Brendan O'Carroll.
She set up Ripple Studios as a purpose-driven creative agency to share her public service broadcasting experience in support of like-minded independent brands and organisations.
An expert in the development and production of visually arresting documentary and short form video content and a passionate early adopter of XR, Lisa’s work has garnered BAFTA, RTS, Digital Emmy, Peabody, BIMA and Lovie awards, among others.
With commercial nous acquired in one of the most demanding retail markets in the world, co-founder Peter is Ripple’s B2C and B2B retail brain.
His expertise is the result of decades at the coalface of customer service in the world of 5-star hospitality, premium retail and FMCG.
With extensive first-hand knowledge of the UK retail market and prime central London in particular, Peter has a clear vision of how digital disrupts the traditional relationship between businesses and their customers and the vast opportunities this creates.
A holder of the prestigious WSET (Wine & Spirits Education Trust) Level 4 Diploma, Peter is also an expert in the subject of wines and spirits.
